Post Production

12/2/16

The first day we edited our footage we covered the basics. We moved the clips into place and put them onto the timeline, cropping them and removing any unwanted footage so we could rectify anything that went wrong.

1/3/16

On this day we smoothed over all of the clips so they flowed together and made sense to the story.

2/3/16

This is when we started to add effects to our footage to make it look appealing to our audience, and ensure it fit in with the thriller genre.

3/3/16

This was a session used to clear everything up and make sure there were no gaps in our continuity.

4/3/16

This is when we introduced the voice over to our production. However, we realised that there was a problem with this within the audio. This was rectified and fixed by being taken out and re-recorded.

8/3/16

When we listened back to the new audio, we realised that there was gaps in between the audio, so we needed something to fill in these gaps and make the audio sound continuous. We just recorded a sound and used this to fill in the quiet parts.

9/3/16

This is when we chose our music to fit with our production and added our voice over back in. This took us a while as we had to quieten the music to parts where we wanted the most effect and impact on the audience with the speaking.

23/3/16

We had fully completed our production by this point, added in transitions to the titles and made sure they were positioned in the right place and we included all of them and were spelled correctly.
